A
one-story Visitors Center for the Sandhills Horticultural
Gardens at Sandhills Community College located in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Functions include an entrance lobby, large lecture hall seating over 75 persons,
reception room, male and female public restrooms, office, workroom and exterior
patio. The facility serves as the main entrance to the
Sandhills Horticultural Gardens for visitors locally and from across the
nation. The facility includes vehicle parking for 32 cars and 2 tour buses and
an exterior patio that is used for many social events associated
with the Sandhills Horticultural Gardens as well as many local events.
Construction Cost:
$750,000
Single-prime construction contract.
