Project Description:
New two-story Student Center for
Sandhills Community College located in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Functions include a large lounge/dining space for over 300
persons, small dining area for approx. 100 persons, full service
cafeteria, student game room, Barnes & Noble
bookstore, student government offices, faculty lounge, fitness
center and gymnasium.
Construction Cost:
$6,250,000
Multi-prime construction contract
with separate prime contracts for General Construction, Plumbing
Work, HVAC Work and Electrical Work.
Project Size:
46,300 square feet
Construction Period:
18 months
